A ghost town, old Domeño

It was a chilly and foggy night. Some of my friends and I wanted to do something unusual and it came to us to drive to some unknown place. It took us more than an hour to get there, but we finally managed to arrive to old Domeño.

As we entered the little town, we saw an enormous castle, which was standing at the top of a huge mountain. The scene was terrifying but we grew some guts and we walked through the castle's doors. During our tour we did not see any remarkable detail, but suddenly we heard a strong thunder that froze our blood, so we ran out of the place and we started wandering the village. After a while, we found an ancient and half-teared down house, which seemed to be the entrance to somewhere else. At first some of us were not loving the idea of finding out what could be inside, but we finally came in all together. It turned out to be the most frightening landscape I have ever seen. It follows that it was a cemetery in which we could see open graves. We were about to leave when some of us said, ''Hey, what's that?'' She approximated a tomb and lift something up and exclaimed, ''It is a skull!'' My friend next to me yelled horrified. We abandoned that gloomy scenery at once due to we had had enough experiences for that night and we were scared out of death.
We drove the way back home and decided not to visit anywhere like that ever again. It was the most terrifying night I ever spent with my colleagues.

Writing for English class: About spare time.

This year I have not many free time, or at least, not as many as I would like to. Unfortunately, I got an awful time table so it is not possible for me to the the things I enjoy the most as often as I would. Even so, I can manage to practice some sports from time to time and dedicate my free hours to relax a little bit as well.

When I have the chance, I love going to the beach to play volleyball with my closest friends. Although I would rather like to visit some in-doors place, I am positive it is a very delightful thing to have nets on our beaches. Another activity which I am excited to do when I am available is rollerblading. I fancy this sport because I feel like I really have wheels instead of feet and that makes me believe I am quite faster. I would not mind to play basketball or baseball as well, as they are a recommendable way to exercise and so remain healthy while having a nice time.
Aside from sports, I also take advantage of my spare time doing some other things to relax, like reading or painting for instance. These activities usually help me forget about my duties and they make me have an amusing time. To escape from my responsibilities I often play adventure videogames too. I quite enjoy challenging videogames that make playing worthwhile, otherwise I believe it is a waste of time to even pay attention to them. To end up, something else which I adore is watching films. It seems so pleasant to me to spend a whole afternoon watching fine films with my mates. I cherish movies which have a psicologyst value rather than scary movies for instance, which I think they are all the same.

To sum up, I am positive it is so meaningful to do whatever we like to do in our spare time because I strongly believe taking some break from work or school is what really keep us from becoming mad and stressed out.

Welcome!

Hi everyone! This is the first time I write in my new blog. I'd just like to invite you to read and comment my posts if you like, that would be very nice ;).
I hope I can entertain you and transmit you some feelings, as well as sharing some stories and interesting facts, etc.

Right now I'm going to introduce myself: My name is Joana and I am 19. I am studying English philology at ''Universidad de Valencia'' and I live in Spain.
I usually spend my spare time going out with my friends, we do different things like rollerblading, riding bikes, walking on the seaside, sometimes shopping, and so on. I also like to do some sports like volleyball and basketball, although I can't practise any of them very often because of University. If I had more free time I would like to try other sports like tennis or paddle, I think they might be funny.I also like to read dramatic plays and books, mostly English literature. The dramatic play I enjoyed the most was Hamlet, which I read like three years ago and I found totally breath-taking. Furthermore, I loooove writing and that's another thing why I chose this career, I really fancy literature world.

That's all I can say by now, but I'll be posting very soon :)
